What hours are you staffed daily?

Our pet lodging facility is staffed from 6:30am – 9pm every day of the week. Drop off and pick up outside of normal business hours may available by request (please see above for hours).

Are there any days that you are closed?

We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day for drop off and pickups. We are fully staffed and your pet will still get all the normal playtime and attention.

What is provided with my pet’s lodging stay?

We provide all water bowls, blankets, and food dishes. We wash and sanitize all kennels, bowls, blankets, and dishes daily.

What do I need to bring for my pet’s stay?

Please bring your pet’s food, treats, and a few toys.

Do I need to bring my pet’s food?

We recommend that you bring food for your pet to minimize the chance for an upset stomach. Please bring your pet’s food in Ziploc or plastic Tupperware container with their name, amount of food to feed, and how many times per day. Please do not bring large containers or full bags of food unless your pet is a long term boarder. We do offer Nutri-Source Adult food at the rate of $1.00 per feeding.

Can I visit my pet while at Northland Pet Lodge?

Absolutely, you can visit your pet and can even take your pet offsite.  Pets can be visited during normal business hours (please see above for hours).

Can my dog get a bath while at your pet boarding facility?

Yes, a complimentary bath is offered to dogs staying three or more consecutive nights at no charge. Please see our grooming page for a complete list of grooming options and pricing.

Do you offering pet grooming services?

Yes, we offer bathing, shampoo & conditioner, brushing, ears cleaned, and nail trimming.

Can you give my pet his/her medication?

No problem, we administer pills and shots every day as needed. We charge $1.00 per medication per administration. Insulin, allergy and other shots are $3 per shot per administration.

What vaccinations do you require?

Canine guests need to be current on Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and a recent fecal or proof of deworming.

Feline guests need to be current on Rabies and Distemper.

Do you have veterinarian on site?

No, we use Crosslake Veterinary Hospital for our veterinary needs. They are located less than 2 miles from our facility.

My dog does not get along with other dogs; can he/she still come to your pet lodging facility?

We are a group play facility and will no longer be accepting any new guests that does not get along with other dogs. Y

I have multiple dogs; can they stay in the same pet kennel or suite?

Yes, only same family pets can share a kennel or a lodge suite.

Can my dog and cat stay together in the same pet kennel or suite?

No, all kitties need to stay in our kitty condos.

What is Nitenpyram?

Nitenpyram is an oral flea control tablet for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens 2 pounds of body weight or greater and 4 weeks and older.

My dog is already on a flea prevention medication, why does my dog need to take a Nitenpyram pill?

We use Nitenpyram to ensure that all our guests are flea free while staying at the Lodge. We administer the pill immediately when your pet checks into our facility, and it starts killing fleas within 30 minutes and only lasts 24 hours.  It is our safety measure to ensure that no fleas enter our facility and that your pet and our facility stay flea free.
